 09-Aug-09 18:36:03 thank you alll for the well wishes on my surgery tomorrow, I thought it would be like first thing in the am...but no, It's not until 11:30AM, and if that's not enough ...nothing to eat or drink past midnight tonight until after the surgery tomorrow. They told me i should be expected to be there at least 5 hrs (outpatient surgery ctr) That kind of shocked me, seems like a long time to me. but they know best. Thanks ahead for all the kind thoughts and prayers. I won't even try to name names, bc I knowme...I will surely forget to name someone important to me...so "to everyone, Thank You"!! That was meant to be 3:30PM surgery time! so almost 16 hrs without food or drink. But they will allow me a little bit of water as needed so I don't get dehydrated! Oh great! lol.I will try to get on here when I get home tonight..they still want to keep me 5 hrs. idk why so long, but...if I cant get on here i will make a short hello on my facebook page...Kath and Donna and Jennifer have that so they can update if needed. I'll be out of commission just for a little while (Ihope) Love you guys and thanks in advance for concerns....Mod, I may need help whining, I don't know yet! LOL posted by badeggs65

Good luck. I'm sure they will take good care of you. They typically put you on a drip so you should get your hydration and some nutrients (i think) from that.
