The New Free Bingo Tournament *BETA*
I'm trying a new free bingo tournament.

Unfortunately, the prizes are being suspended while the bingo tournament while we iron out the wrinkles in the new system.

Please feel free to try the new bingo tournament and report any problems, concerns or suggestions here.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

So far I have had problems playing in Netscape and Firefox - even after downloading shockwave and flash. I have been successful with Internet Explorer.

If you have any problems, please let us know what browser software you are running.

Cash Prizes
I haven't determined that yet. Because you are only being scored against Bingo Advantage players - players will have a much higher chance of winning.

I'm thinking of making the prize dependent on the number of competitors. So if 50 people play on Wednesday and 250 people play on Saturday - Saturday will have a larger prize.

I'm open to any ideas about prizes - whether they should be daily, or if I should have much larger weekly or monthly prizes.

I also have to make sure I follow regulations for running such a contest, because this is slightly different than furnishing a bonus to someone elses tournament.

I like some of the new format but without sound it's hard to follow. Also when you have a limit on the bingo. I better explain: like the small kite pattern, you need it in 41 #'s but no n's are required, 8 were called. This reduse the chance of winning greatly. This also occured in another game: b's needed but n's were not but more n's were called then b's. :smt055 How do I fix the sound problem???

You make a good point. The calculation for how many turns it runs should take that into account though. I think that any unwon prize carries over to the next round right? I'll point the operators to the forum. See if they want to address any of the finers points.

Hollymocca, do you get sound from other applications, but not from the bingo tournament?

I'm happy to report that the problem with firefox and netscape has been fixed.

Hi Rish47, you should not have to login - it should be logging you in automatically when it pops up the tournament window. I have to run out right now, but I'm going to test your account tomorrow morning and see if there is something wrong with the password generated for your account.
